Just off the N340 highway, close to Estepona lies one of the world’s most unique nature parks, Selwo Safari Park. The park is easy to get to, with ample parking outside the front gate. There are a number of places to eat and drink and although some of the park is by all-terrain vehicle, be prepared for a good long walk.

Your journey through Selwo starts with the botanical gardens where you will see a wide variety of plants, all set in peaceful gardens. There are many animals on display, some of which are quite rare. All are kept in first class conditions and well cared for. One of the most unusual walks is through the bird canyon, a large netted area where birds fly freely, as though in the wild.
